TERMS OF TRADE & WEBSITE TERMS
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. ABOUT THESE TERMS
1.1 These terms apply to all quotes, drafting, laser cutting and related services supplied by Laser360 Pty Ltd ABN 22 696 664 730 (“Laser360”, “we”, “us”) to you (“the customer”).
1.2 By accepting a quote, placing an order or sending us files for work, you agree to these terms. They apply together with our written quote. If the two conflict, the quote prevails.
2. QUOTES AND PRICING
2.1 Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
2.2 Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST unless stated.
2.3 Quotes are based on the information, drawings and quantities you give us. If these change, or the material, thickness or size differs from what was quoted, we may revise the price and lead time.
3. DRAWINGS, FILES AND APPROVAL
3.1 You’re responsible for the accuracy of any drawings, dimensions, files and specifications you supply, and for making sure they suit your intended use.
3.2 Where we draft or modify drawings, we’ll send them to you for approval before cutting. Once you approve them (in writing or by email), we’ll cut to the approved drawing, and you’re responsible for any errors in what you approved.
3.3 Unless we agree otherwise in writing, our drafting covers manufacturability only. It doesn’t include engineering design, structural certification, or compliance with Australian Standards or building requirements. Those remain your responsibility.
3.4 You promise that you own, or have the right to use, the designs you give us, and that our use of them to complete your job won’t infringe anyone else’s rights.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
4.1 You keep ownership of the designs and files you supply.
4.2 Drawings that Laser360 creates remain our property unless specified otherwise.
4.3 We keep your files confidential and use them only for your job. See our Privacy Policy for more.
5. MATERIALS
5.1 Material can be supplied by us or by you. Where we supply it, the quote states the material type and thickness. Normal variation between mills and batches may occur.
5.2 If you supply material, it must be suitable for laser cutting, delivered on time and in the right quantity, and clearly identified. You must tell us about any coating, film, galvanising or surface treatment, because some produce hazardous fumes when cut. We may refuse to cut such material or charge extra.
5.3 We may decline any job where we believe it’s unsafe or beyond our capability.
5.4 Offcuts and scrap from your job remain our property unless specified otherwise
6. TOLERANCES AND FINISH
6.1 Laser-cut parts are subject to normal process variation, including kerf width, edge finish, minor dross or heat marks, and discolouration along cut edges.
6.2 Our standard cutting tolerance is ±0.2 mm on flat sheet & tube. Tighter tolerances or specific edge finishes must be agreed in writing before we quote.
6.3 Parts are supplied as cut unless we agree otherwise. Material certificates are available only if requested at the quote stage.
7. PAYMENT
7.1 Payment terms: payment on collection for new customers; 30 days from invoice date for approved accounts.
7.2 We may require a deposit or payment in advance for large jobs, or where we buy material especially for your order.
7.3 If an invoice is overdue, we may charge interest at 2% per year and recover reasonable collection costs, and we may pause work on your account, to the extent the law allows.
7.4 Goods remain the property of Laser360 until paid for in full for cash sales.
8. LEAD TIMES, DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
8.1 Lead times are estimates. We’ll do our best to meet them, but we’re not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
8.2 Parts can be collected from our Orange workshop by arrangement, or delivered at a cost we’ll quote separately.
8.3 Risk in the goods passes to you when you collect them, or when they’re delivered to your address or handed to a carrier.
8.4 Please collect finished work within 14 days of being notified. Storage fees may apply after that.
9. INSPECTION AND PROBLEMS
9.1 Please check your parts when you collect or receive them. Tell us in writing, with photos, about any defect or shortfall within 5 business days.
9.2 If a problem is caused by us (for example, parts not cut to the approved drawing, or defective workmanship), we’ll recut, repair or credit the affected parts, at our option. We’re not responsible for problems caused by supplied drawings, supplied material, or how the parts are used after delivery.
9.3 Our goods and services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.
10. LIABILITY
10.1 To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to our goods or services is limited to re-supplying them, or the cost of having them re-supplied.
10.2 To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, downtime or lost opportunity.
10.3 You’re responsible for deciding whether parts are suitable for your application, including any structural, lifting, pressure or safety-critical use, unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.
11. CHANGES AND CANCELLATION
11.1 You can change or cancel an order before we’ve bought material or started cutting without charge.
11.2 After that, we may charge for work already done and material already bought, including material that can’t be returned.
11.3 Changes after approval may affect the price and lead time.
12. PHOTOS AND PROMOTION
We may photograph finished parts and use the photos on our website and social media, without your name or any confidential details, unless you tell us not to before work starts.
13. USING OUR WEBSITE
13.1 Information on our website is general. Capabilities, prices and lead times shown are indicative and are only confirmed in a written quote.
13.2 Website content, branding and images belong to Laser360 and can’t be copied or reused without our permission.
13.3 We take care to keep the site accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We’re not responsible for the content of websites we link to.
13.4 Please don’t use our contact form to send unlawful, harmful or malicious files or content.
14. GENERAL
14.1 These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and both of us submit to the courts of New South Wales.
14.2 We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when we issue your quote applies to that job.
14.3 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
14.4 Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including supply disruptions, equipment breakdown, power or freight outages, severe weather or illness.
